It’s very simple. Your priorities reflect what’s most important for you. There are some people who are very important to us ‘in our heads and hearts’ but they are mostly hurt by our actions, or upset about something… or just plain unhappy. Can’t figure out why? Just pay a little attention to all the things you are doing for them, all the times when they look hurt and not express, every time they pass a taunt… Every time they say something like you don’t love them or care about them. Think about your actions. All the times when you could have been with them but chose something else instead. Pushed them away, not literally…. But hard enough to hurt them, not physically but emotionally. As bad.
