Even if I can’t go for a long holiday anywhere right now, I can always be on the road with him, play music our hearts dance to and our soul sings, go somewhere a little far from where we live – far enough to stop on the way for those tasty treats. Far enough to feel far from the crowd; to just be together.
And maybe reach the destination that is more scenic – no buildings, no pollution. A destination devoid of the daily humdrum and things-to-do.
Until I reach the place where there are more things to see and feel than things to tick off a list, this will do just fine.
Time to fuel up, maybe.
